Q: What is the procedure to bring in an animal?
A: You have to live in our service area. The animals may not be strays, may not have bitten anyone, and be adoptable (The older the animal, the more difficult it is to find a good home). An appointment has to be scheduled for releasing an animal to us; walk-ins are discouraged. From time to time, there is a waiting list for animals to come in.

Q: What kind of animals do you have?
A: Dogs, puppies, cats, kittens; frequently pure breds

Q: Do you deal with wildlife?
A: No. Call your local Animal Control Officer or Department of Environmental Management (the Animal Control Officer works with your police department).

A: Absolutely. We take a history of any animal released to us and share it with the new adoptive owner.

A: After filling out the adoption papers, we determine your needs and we will call you if a suitable pet is released to us.
