A: Fill out an adoption application, which usually takes 24 to 48 hours for approval. If approved, fill out adoption papers and pay the necessary fee. Q: What are your adoption fees? A: Dog $60, puppy $70, cat $60, kitten $70, and refundable spay/neuter fee $40. The refundable spay/neuter deposit will be returned on proof of the operation. The animals may not be strays, may not have bitten anyone, and be adoptable (The older the animal, the more difficult it is to find a good home). A: The pound deals with the "lost and found" of the animal population. The ARL deals with animals that are previously owned and for which the owners can no longer care. Q: Do you know the previous history of the animals we wish to adopt? A: Absolutely. We take a history of any animal released to us and share it with the new adoptive owner. Q: Do you take donations?
